Saturday, March 17 -
Demonstrations of the Western divisions (Western Pleasure, Reining, Trail.)
Appropriate tack and apparel for Western classes.
Evaluating young stock for careers in Western Pleasure.
"Old South" breakfast, lunch, Mint Julep social hour and dinner.

Sunday, March 18 -
Starting the beginner Western horse.
Hands-on work with horses, emphasizing how to correct problems with western horses (gaits, head and neck set, proper "cueing" and direction.)
Lunch, social hour and "Chuck Wagon" dinner.
Presentations of young stock and seasoned western champions each evening during social hour.

Cost: $100 USD per person (includes all meals)

REGION 16 SPRING CLINIC March 10 & 11, 2007 - Woodstock, Connecticut Jody Strand - 2005 APAHA Western Trainer of the Year 2006 APAHA Western Trainer of the Year Nominee Chad Judy - 2002 APAHA English Trainer of the Year The Region 16 Spring Clinic will be held at the Woodstock Equestrian Centre from 10AM to 3PM each day. Lessons will run for approximately one hour, at a cost of $150 for Region 16 members, or $175 for non-members. Every effort will be made to ensure everyone will have a spot and clinician of their choice. There is an audit/spectator fee of $20 per day for Region 16 members, and $25 per day for non-members.
